THE BAND
Never The Hero got it's start when Shane Reeves and Kevin Hughes
answered an add on Craigslist to go out to Pelion, S.C. to jam with the
band, Jaded. After months of playing, no singer had been found. Stan
Parks answered the same add and joined up with the group. After 2
months or so, Shane, Kevin, and Stan broke out on their own and began
the search for a guitarist. It wasn't long before Eric Clark answered
the call and the Never The Hero band was born. Eric's tenure with the
band lasted only 2 gigs though, as he was called to duty with the U.S.
Army and was relocated to Georgia. Not long after Eric departed, the
guys had young, Dustin Parker out to jam but his studies would not allow
him the time so the search continued. At this time, Beau Long
contacted Stan. They jammed a few Sunday afternoons and the HERO fire
was reignited.
In the short time that Beau has been on board, the band has a renewed and focused direction and is learning and writing new music. This new roster for Never The Hero should prove to be a rocking good time as we kick off 2011.
